Title or Location: Facing the Light
This portrait was done with assorted pastel pencils and some Cretacolor and Sennelier pastel sticks on PastelMat paper. Size: 16 x 12. My husband (Bruce Fleischer) is a professional photographer and teacher, and took this photo of a coworker many years ago. I recently came across the image and was taken by the light on his face and turban. I wanted the emphasis on those areas, which is why I left part of the drawing unfinished.

Title or Location: Winter snow
As we had the arrival of snow this week I thought it would be perfect to create a nice winter scene, this one came out of my mind rather than a reference photo, so it?s of no particular place other than some music, a paintbrush and a blank canvas. I actually only learnt to paint during lockdown so it?s always really cool when I see the finished product and it looks pretty good.

Title or Location: Holiness
?Holiness? .The painting is made with acrylic paints on wood. &127912 It was created through a moment of inspiration without the use of a sketch. I just decided to trust the holy spirit. Many edges and highlights on the sides convey the state of this world in the midst of which the Light of the world appeared! A pure, immaculate creature with a divine destiny to save this world from sin. &128591&127995

Title or Location: Flora & Fauna
I am an avid visual artist, graphic designer by day & love to experiment in numerous mediums. I really enjoy the cyanotype printmaking experience. The Prussian blue & ethereal appearance of the final results fascinates me. I have been working on a hand-crafted series of cyanotype prints mounted to pine panels. The focus ranges from flora & fauna, to beach inspired and abstract compositions. I use found items to create my compositions. I will pick plants from my yard in the Lowry Park North area
