I did this self portrait for my 25th birthday. Birthdays as an adoptee who doesn?t know their biological family can be tough. It?s been a confusing time of year for me lately, but this year I tried to channel that confusion into art.

The inspiration for "Flutter Moon" was to capture the feeling of peace during life changes. We all go through intense cycles of growth and learning to do that with grace and balance is something I admire. The original painting is 24"?24" acrylic on canvas. The original sold very quickly but I do offer canvas prints.

This image was hand drawn and oil painted on a 12x16 canvas sheet. It is in memory of a baby Squirrel that myself and my teenage daughter raised years ago. We called him Icarus.I was Veterinarian Technician at the time and my daughter actually grew up to be a Veterinarian. Such laughs we had with that baby Squirrel!
